Chubby Owl In Today's Small Town Scandal

Other than being incredibly wise, I never dreamed that I would have anything in common with an Owl. It turns out that one owl in England may be my kindred animal spirit! UPI reports that authorities were called to rescue an injured owl. It turns out she wasn't injured he was just too fat to fly! Rescuers initially thought she may have been fed by humans or raised in captivity, but testing concluded otherwise. Since being placed on a diet of less mice she has lost 1.5 ounces and has been released back into the wild where she will continue to investigate how many licks it takes to get to center of a tootsie roll tootsie pop.

NASCAR: New Sponsors For The #88

Sports Business Journal Daily reports that Hendrick Motorsports has teamed up with several Chevrolet Accessory partners to fill the void created when Nationwide Insurance stepped stepped away from the team at the end of the 2019 season. The deal includes Adam’s Polishes, NOCO and Truck Hero. These companies will sponsor the 88 car in 26 races. Valvoline will be the primary sponsor for 4 races this season including the Daytona 500. The team has additional primary sponsorship from Axalta Coating Systems (three races), LLumar (three races) and Cincinnati (two races).

Lauren Alaina Wows 'Em On The Today Show

Country music superstar, American Idol Contestant, and Dancing With The Stars Showstopper, Lauren Alaina stopped by the Today Show to perform her hit "Getting Good". While she had our attention she announced that she is also releasing a six song EP of new music in early March just as she hits the road with the Friends & Heroes Tour along with Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, John Anderson, & The Bellamy Brothers. Super Bowl Ticket Prices Soar To Near Record Highs

Fox Business is reporting that ticket prices for Sunday's Superbowl between the 49s and Chiefs are nearing $7000 dollars on secondary ticket outlets like Stubhub and Vivid Seats. On the morning of January 30th tickets were priced as high as $6845.00. Experts say ticket prices will exceed $7000.00 by kick off on Sunday.

Ron Howard and Jennifer Aniston: Mutual Appreciation

US Weekly reports that Ron Howard has great appreciation for Jennifer Aniston. The life long Hollywood star had this to say,“Very few people can move between comedy and drama, you know, the way she’s proven that she can. So as a result, she’s both very funny with impeccable timing but she’s always very honest,” . “You don’t feel like she’s a performer, ever. She’s, you know, a really strong actor. She’s also a good director! She hasn’t done very much of it, but she did a short film in … a program that my daughter Bryce [Dallas Howard] was also involved in.”
The praise comes weeks after Anniston cited Howard's famous show Happy Days in her SAG awards acceptance speech.

NASCAR DRIVER KURT BUSCH TO GIVE AWAY TICKETS TO VETS

NBC sports reported that for the second straight year Kurt Busch will be giving away 100 tickets at all 36 Monster Energy Cup Points Races and the two non points event; the Busch Clash and annual All Star Race. The tickets will be distributed to veterans through the online service Vet Tix free of charge. “I have always had a strong desire to pay respect to those who have served and continue to serve our country,” Busch said in a media release. A red hot country tour was announced on Wednesday. Chris Stapleton will be bringing his unmistakable sound to fans nationwide. The former Steel Drivers front man will be joined by Sheryl Crow and Kendall Marvel on July 23rd and Darien Lake and July 24th at St. Joseph's Amphitheater in Syracuse.

Wienermobile Narrowly Avoids Hot Water- Wednesday's Small Town Scandal

The driver of the iconic Oscar Meyer Wienermobile failed to move over for a first responder on the side of a Wisconsin highway Monday afternoon. Shortly after, the 27 foot hotdog on wheels was pulled over by a deputy and given a warning. Oscar Meyer, Wisconsin law enforcement and fans of dad jokes everywhere had fun with the now legendary image of the incident, however Oscar Meyer also made sure to mention that they are taking steps to ensure this doesn't happen again.

Opry Planning A Huge Night Of Music in February

Garth Announces First Dive Bar Stop of 2020

Garth Brooks will be celebrating his birthday two days early this year when the Dive Bar makes it's first 2020 stop at Six String Grill & Stage in Foxboro Mass. on February 5th.
