Other than being incredibly wise, I never dreamed that I would have anything in common with an Owl. It turns out that one owl in England may be my kindred animal spirit!
UPI reports that authorities were called to rescue an injured owl. It turns out she wasn't injured he was just too fat to fly! Rescuers initially thought she may have been fed by humans or raised in captivity, but testing concluded otherwise. Since being placed on a diet of less mice she has lost 1.5 ounces and has been released back into the wild where she will continue to investigate how many licks it takes to get to center of a tootsie roll tootsie pop.
