Logano's Vegas Win By The Numbers: NASCAR NEWS

Joey Logano continued the trend set by Denny Hamlin  last week at Daytona by becoming the second driver to win the same race two years in a row.. No small matter considering we are only two races into the cup season.
Logano grabbed the checkered flag after leading 54 of 267 laps, or 20% of the race.  Logano  started in the fifth spot and dropped as far back as 20th.
The win broke the tie for 33rd winningest driver which Logano had been sharing with Ricky Rudd.  This career win 24 in Logano's 13 year cup career.  He joins an elite club of multi-year winners in the Vegas race.   Jimmie Johnson won 4 times, including 3 consecutive wins in 2005,2006 and 2007.  Matt Kenseth has visited victory lane in the desert 3 times.  Jeff Burton, Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick and Logano's teammate Brad Keselowski has all won big in the desert twice.
